This collection, prepared and published by the National Council for Food and Nutrition Security (CONSEA), is composed of 12 volumes. They present pathways for applying international instruments of the human right to adequate food (right to food) at national and subnational levels, with a focus on the Brazilian case.
The publications highlight Brazil’s trajectory in building innovative public policies and legal frameworks that recognize food as a fundamental right. The contents articulate themes such as social participation, justice, sustainability, and food sovereignty.
More than a technical resource, the guide underscores the right to food as a political and ethical commitment. It offers concrete references to strengthen actions to combat hunger, promote healthy eating, and guarantee rights, in dialogue with contemporary challenges.
